After a little brain break, I told the class to go get in line to go back in the classroom. They all sat on the steps, instead, and said, "Take our picture!" Such a cute little family of students!

Updates
We have been busy little owls in Third Grade. Last week, we completed our Chapter 1 study on addition and subtraction within 1,000. We also began working with collecting data and graphing.
Last Wednesday was Constitution Day. We have been studying the American Revolution in Social Studies, so it was a great day to celebrate the document that was created during this time to protect our rights. We got to take a virtual field trip to the National Archives in Washington D.C. We also learned the Preamble of the Constitution through a fun song from Schoolhouse Rock! (You may have heard this a time or two at the dinner table last week). You can view the video at this link: Schoolhouse Rock Preamble.
