Flat Stanley Goes to College
Before FCAT, we read all about Flat Stanley, and then made our own Stanleys. After that, we sent them off to Flagler College. Our Flagler students came to return our Stanleys to us, and we got to learn all about the adventures they had taken with our Flat Stanleys (and science facts they had learned while they were away)! After that, we all went outside to learn about prisms with Mrs. Osborne and Dr. Jensen from Flagler, along with our college buddies. A great time was had by all. See below for some pictures!

Flat Stanley
Check out the making of our Flat Stanleys. They will be taking an adventure with some Flagler students in the upcoming weeks! We are looking forward to their return on April 25th!

Busy Week!
We are gearing up for a busy end of the week. We have lots of testing coming, as well as some special events!
Tomorrow, we will have our Spelling Bee with Mr. Glover's class. This was originally scheduled for Friday, but due to the Black History Program, we had to move it up a day. We will begin after the Morning Show.
Friday, we have our Black History Program in the morning. Two of our students are slated to give the history of Lena Horne. Don't forget Imagine It Test, and Ch. 8 Math Test will occur Friday, as well!
Finally, Friday afternoon, we have been invited by first grade to help with their "Clean Sweep Tallahassee" contest. Our third graders will teach the first graders about our school recycling procedures, and assist them with cleaning up the school grounds.

Moon Phases
We have just begun our new story for the week (Unit 4 Lesson 3) titled "The Moon Seems to Change." We are learning all about the phases of the moon in both reading and science class! Check out these links to some cool interactive moon websites!

Glover/Owen Spelling Bee
